At Coldplay’s concert in Mumbai, lead vocalist Chris Martin gave a heartfelt shout-out to Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. As he exclaimed “Shah Rukh Khan Forever,” the crowd erupted in joy. This created an electrifying atmosphere at the DY Patil Stadium. Thousands of fans lit up the venue with their lights, showcasing their excitement as Chris and his band performed their hit songs.

The second day of Coldplay’s Mumbai concert was particularly memorable for fans. A video capturing the special moment now going viral on social media. Coldplay gave a special shout-out to the Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, saying, “Shah Rukh Khan forever”. During the concert, Chris Martin also expressed his remorse for British rule in India. He thanked the Indian audience for their forgiveness.

He stated, “This is our fourth visit to India and the second time to play. The first time we played a long show and we could not have asked for a better audience. Thank you for coming today, everybody!” Chris Martin apologised for British rule in India and thanked the Indian audience for forgiving them. He could be heard saying, “It is amazing to us that you welcome us even though we are from Great Britain. Thank you for forgiving us for all the bad things that Great Britain has done.”

Coldplay’s upcoming concerts

Coldplay is currently in India as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. They performed at the DY Patil Stadium on January 18 and 19, with a third concert scheduled for January 21. After their time in Mumbai, the band will head to Ahmedabad for two concerts on January 25 and 26. Notably, their final concert on January 26 will be streamed live on Disney+ Hotstar.
